In this article, you’ll know whether the investment of ₹5,800 will be worth it or not.
Before reading the article, our school had conducted 2 educational trips (1st in Aurangabad & 2nd in Silvassa) and both of them were well managed with enough sports activities and visits to Indian culture & industries.
I believe our college can further enhance its educational tour program by refining the selection process for tour managers (better you read this article before investing ₹5,800 into any educational trip conducted by Pillai College, New Panvel)
Industrial visit were supposed to go to Manali or Rajasthan (all the places out of Maharashtra) however due to student’s behaviour it was shifted to something else.
Our trip got converted from Silvassa to Mahabaleshwar (Mapro Garden) – the place where there are least industries
This was not the educational trip at all & Wanderworld deserves the rating.
Let’s start with Day 1: Onboarding Into The Bus (from PCACS)
If you’re a highly workaholic person, you better take a laptop & other resources with you. This would help you achieve your daily work/project completion target and learn at the same time.
Almost the entire traveling time I was working and it helped me manage my work well.
The bus reached at the resort around 14:30 and after lunch we used the swimming pool of 5 feet for few hours, then I sat for my internship work.
The whole 1st day got nothing constructive – games, dance & songs were arranged. The rooms were divided into 4 students.
Again the next day nothing constructive was showed to us..
- Mapro Garden with their chocolate stores & strawberry farm (there was no guide to understand what all those things were about)
- Unnecessary time allocation in go-carting for a 15 mins ride
- After lunch again we swim for a few minutes and went boating in the evening, had a few snacks and visited Mahabaleshwar market (with almost the same products you could get in any local market)
I kept doing my work on my laptop till late night on Day 2 (a short concert & games were arranged as being the 2nd night to stay)
On Day 3, time to come back home via Katraj Dairy Pune and visit to a general table point.
A short explanation of the base dept., short film about the establishment and a quick tour of where the different dairy products were made (the dairy staff could have explained everything in much detail – management, production processes, etc.)
Even after mentioning to the driver to stop at Karjat Road, he took a different route. Thus I stayed at Kalamboli (at my Mama’s house) and left for office the next day.
Loved the way you gave a true and transparent review which is comparatively nowadays less ,but you gave a true and inspiring article.keep spreading the truth as it is less but with high value.
Thank you Heeral
